Since the Syrian civil war began, nearly 585,000 people have been killed, including some 22,000 children. The government has used poison gas on its own people. In Yemen, 233,000 people have died, both from the civil war directly and from widespread hunger caused by the conflict. In China, more than a million Uighurs have been herded into “reeducation camps.” There are reports of forced labor and forced sterilization of Uighur woman, and the Chinese government has been accused of committing genocide and crimes against humanity. The list goes on.
In the recent Israel — Hamas conflict, approximately 250 Palestinians lost their lives. The death of any innocent civilian is a tragedy, which is why Israel went out of its way to try to avoid causing civilian casualties. Yet the world is focused on condemning Israel for the toll in Gaza, even though the country was responding to the indiscriminate firing of more than 4,000 rockets against its innocent civilians. For more evidence of biased treatment toward Israel, one need look no further than the United Nations General Assembly and its decades-long fixation on excoriating the Jewish state at every turn, while ignoring crimes by many of its member nations.

Quote: “When a Palestinian terrorist stabs an Israeli high school student in Afula, most of the world was silent. On one particularly violent day when over 180 rockets and mortars were fired into Israel, the UN was silent. When the Palestinian terrorist groups in Gaza launch hundreds of kites and balloons with flammable materials and sometimes even explosives at Israel, burning down thousands of acres of farmland, forests, and nature reserves within Israel proper, the UN is also silent.”
