Islamism (also often called political Islam or Islamic fundamentalism) is defined as “a political ideology which posits that modern states and regions should be reconstituted in constitutional, economic, and judicial terms, in accordance with what is conceived as a revival or a return to authentic Islamic practice in its totality.” The Muslim Brotherhood has been one of the key proponents of Islamist ideology and a relentless spreader of Jew-hate.
Quote: “Qutb [Sayyid Qutb, early leading member of the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood] saw the Jews as part of the problem of the Muslims. They symbolized the Jewish or Jewish-Christian tradition on civilization, and both were supposed to be fought against, because he wanted, of course, what he saw in his vision… the return of Islamic civilization to the way it was in the first days of Islam…. [Qutb believed] all the evil notions brought to the world were brought by the Jews.”
