At the end of October, the United Nations General Assembly overwhelmingly passed a resolution “that demands Israel dispose of all nuclear weapons and placed its nuclear sites under the aegis of the UN’s International Atomic Energy Agency.”
Why does this belong on AntisemitismExposed.org?
Because Israel’s presumed nuclear weaponry — which the Jewish state never acknowledged exists — has for decades been the main deterrent preventing the enemies of Israel from attempting to destroy the Jewish state.
The resolution also called for a “nuclear-free zone” in the Middle East, without addressing Iran’s advanced nuclear weapons program. The Islamic Republic has often declared its intention to “wipe the Zionist entity off the map.”
Quote: “[The resolution] made no mention of Syria’s attempts to acquire nuclear capability; nor did it mention Iran, a country well on the way to developing nuclear weapons and which categorically, repeatedly has stated its intention of “wiping Israel off the map” and supports numerous terrorist proxies throughout the region. Ironically, Iran is a member of the NPT [Non-Proliferation Treaty].”
